Private Launch on Venice Canal

A private launch moves down the Venice canal toward the Ferrovia vaporetto docks. Pale overcast light turns the water silver-grey and renders the riverside buildings in terracotta and beige while the frame leaves a large swath of sky above. Two passengers sit at the launch's stern and a vaporetto stop labeled Ferrovia is visible at the right edge.
