Land Snail on Skeletonized Foliage

A small land snail crawls across a wet, skeletonized leaf near the lower right of the frame. The snail's glossy brown spiral shell catches a narrow highlight while the leaf shows beige, tan and dark green mottling and a dense network of veins; the photograph is shot as a close macro with shallow focus. Tiny raised granules and the snail's extended tentacles are visible on the leaf surface.
