Blue Chicory Flower on Stem

A blue chicory flower sits on a thin stalk among dry field grasses. The petals are pale blue, lit by even daylight, and framed low-left against a blurred background of tan stems and grey-brown branches. A fine strand of spider silk is visible above a nearby bud.
