Yellow Marigold Bloom

A yellow marigold bloom rises on a single green stem among several unopened buds. Bright yellow petals are lit softly against a deep green, out-of-focus background with circular bokeh; the flower sits centered in a tight shallow-focus frame. The lower petals show slight drying at the edges and the nearby buds have purple-tinged sepals.
