Paper Wasp on Tomato Plant

A paper wasp (Polistes sp.) perches and appears to be landing on a tomato plant's leaf. The insect's yellow-and-black striped body and orange antennae are lit by soft daylight against a backdrop of pale green tomato foliage, with the wasp placed off-center in the frame. The wasp's front legs are extended and its wings show a slight motion blur while the leaf surface reveals prominent veins and tiny hairs.
