Paper Wasp on Grass Blade

A paper wasp clings to the side of a narrow grass blade near the right center of the frame. Bright sunlight illuminates the green leaves and throws the wasp's black-and-yellow body and translucent brown wings into sharp relief against a dark, blurred background. A thin shadow of its antennae and legs falls across the leaf and is clearly visible in the frame.
