Curled Vine Tendrils

A curled vine tendril coils from a thin stem near the lower right of the frame. The photograph is black-and-white with bright highlights on the textured tendril and a deep, out-of-focus dark background that isolates the spiral shapes. The tight coil at left ends in a small pointed tip and the tendril surface shows fine speckling.
