Beetle on Gilled Agaric

A small reddish-brown beetle clings to the underside of a pale gilled agaric. The creamy-pink gills fill the left of the frame while soft, diffused daylight and blurred green grass make a cool, out-of-focus background. Fine dust speckles the beetle's elytra and the gill edges show scalloped, paper-thin layers.
