Grey Bracket Fungus Caps

A cluster of bracket fungus caps sits among cut stems and litter on the ground. The caps are pale grey with darker charcoal patches and a powdery surface; the image is a tight vertical close-up with shallow focus showing many small water beads. Numerous round droplets cling to the cap rims and a darker central patch reads like a small eye.
