Partially Opened Orange Daisy Bud

A partially opened orange daisy bud sits in the lower-left foreground with its inner petals just beginning to unfurl. Warm orange and coral petals catch soft side light against a dark, out-of-focus background while neighboring buds blur into shapes. The green bracts at the bud base show scaly brown markings and fine powdery granules.
