Queen Anne's Lace Umbel

Queen Anne's lace umbel (wild carrot) fills the frame, seen from directly above. Tiny white florets and pale, almost celadon buds cluster densely against a black background with cool, even lighting and a shallow depth of field. A ring of narrow, bristly bracts frames the edge and many central buds show five-part symmetry.
