Brown Bracket Fungus on Trunk

A brown bracket fungus (polypore) is attached to the side of a tree trunk with its porous underside facing the camera. Warm tan and honey-brown pores catch side light against a blurred green background while the trunk runs vertically through the frame. Small dark specks dot several pores near the center of the shelf.
