Cream-Gilled Forest Mushrooms

Cream-gilled forest mushrooms grow from a mossy patch at the lower edge of the frame. Warm side light picks out the pale gills and brown, flaky caps against dark, granular soil and a softly blurred background. Tiny sand-like particles cling above the caps and a fine spider-silk thread runs from one mushroom's rim.
