Globular Springtail on Serrated Frond

A globular springtail sits on the serrated edge of a green frond. The tiny round body is pale orange with dark eyes, lit by soft natural light and set sharply against a blurred green and brown background. The insect's segmented antennae and tiny beads along the frond margin are visible in the frame.
