Tiny Brown Mushroom on Bark

A tiny brown mushroom sits on a piece of wet, lichen-covered bark at ground level. Its pale tan cap has a fine textured surface and the scene is lit with soft, diffuse light against a wide, blurred brown-gray background. Tiny lichen dots the bark and a smaller immature mushroom grows tucked beneath the larger stem.
