Black-and-Gold Wasp on Green Surface

A small black-and-gold wasp sits on a green plant surface near the lower edge of the frame. The insect shows glossy black compound eyes and bright gold markings, lit by soft natural light against a smooth, out-of-focus green background. Tiny specks of dust cling to its face and the wasp faces the camera with its mandibles slightly open.
