Leafhopper on Tree Bark

A leafhopper sits on rough tree bark near the lower right of the frame. Its translucent veined wings reveal a brighter abdomen beneath; soft, low light and a shallow depth of field blur the grey bark into a textured background. One long antenna points forward and a few tiny grit particles cluster at the insect's feet.
