Hosta Stamen and Anthers

Hosta stamen and anthers sit tucked inside a purple hosta corolla near the flower's opening. Pale yellow, speckled anthers and white curled filaments appear against broad violet petals, lit by soft, diffuse light and a very shallow depth of field. Tiny dark pollen specks mark the anthers and the left petal edge shows fine vertical ridges and tiny hairs.
