Celosia cristata cockscomb flower

A Celosia cristata cockscomb flower fills the lower right of the frame. The ruffled crest shows bands of yellow, white and pink with magenta tips, lit by soft natural light and shot tightly with a shallow depth of field. The densely packed, hairlike surface is visible and several magenta-tipped ridges catch the light.
