Virginia Creeper on Wooden Fence

A Virginia creeper vine runs across a weathered wooden fence, its thin stem crossing the planks diagonally. Pale chartreuse new growth and darker mature foliage contrast with the grey-brown vertical grain of the boards under soft side light. A rusted nail head and a narrow split in the center plank sit close to the vine.
