Polypore Bracket on Log

A polypore bracket fungus sits face-up on a rotting log. The pore surface is pale off-white with dark, irregular stains and a frayed tan margin, shown in soft, diffuse light and tight close-up framing. A darker circular depression near the center and tiny yellow specks on the surface are clearly visible in the frame.
