Lacewing on Grass Blade

A lacewing clings to a vertical grass blade at the right edge of the frame. Its pale, translucent body and intricately veined wings catch soft backlight against a smooth blur of green-gray tones. The insect's long antennae reach above the blade and fine hairs on its thorax are visible in the close crop.
