Pink Flower Bud Spike

Pink flower bud spike rises from its slender stem and sits centered against a dark background. The tightly packed unopened buds range from pale cream to deep rose and are lit to show their glossy surfaces, photographed with a very shallow depth of field. Fine hairs on the stem and tiny reflective specks on several buds are visible at this magnification.
