Garden Candytuft Cluster

A garden candytuft (Iberis) cluster sits along the right edge of the frame. The petals show graduated magenta and pale mauve tones, lit by soft natural light with a shallow depth of field that renders the background into a smooth green blur. The nearest blossom reveals cream-colored stamens and a faint speck of pollen on one petal.
