Phlox subulata Petals and Foliage

Phlox subulata sits in the lower-left foreground with several five-petaled blossoms turned slightly upward. The blossoms are pale mauve, the narrow foliage is green, and soft backlighting turns the background into large, creamy bokeh. Fine hairs along the stems catch the light near the flowers.
