Rose of Sharon with Red Eye

A Rose of Sharon hibiscus blooms on a leafy branch set against a pale blue sky. The pale petals surround a deep magenta eye and yellow stamen, lit by soft daylight and photographed with a shallow focus that leaves the background blooms blurred. The nearest petal shows fine veins and a small ragged edge where it's slightly torn.
