Turkey Tail Fungus Cluster

A cluster of turkey tail fungus (Trametes versicolor) grows on a damp tree trunk. The bracket caps display concentric bands of tan, brown and cream with fuzzy pale margins; soft, even illumination and a shallow depth of field isolate the upper cluster against a dark blurred background. Fine serrated edges and tiny water beads are visible on the nearest caps.
