Green Aphid on Foliage Edge

A green aphid rests on the edge of a plant leaf near the lower right of the frame. Sunlight picks out its translucent wings and long antennae against a soft, out-of-focus green background. The final sentence: you can clearly see the fine wing veins and the textured leaf surface beneath its legs, and the antenna is almost as long as the body.
