Oak Margin Close-Up

An oak leaf edge curls into the frame and fills most of the picture. The surface is pale tan with darker veins, lit from the side against a smooth gray background and photographed with a very shallow depth of field. A tiny hooked tip and short hair-like trichomes along the margin are sharply in focus.
