Brown Moth on Yellow Lichen

A brown moth is resting on a patch of bright yellow lichen on pale tree bark. Its mottled tan wings and dark eye are captured in soft daylight with a very shallow depth of field; the yellow lichen fills the left foreground while the rest of the frame falls out of focus. A small smear of lichen dust clings to the moth's front leg.
