Purple Chrysanthemum Bed

A bed of purple chrysanthemum plants fills the lower half of the frame. The petals appear magenta to deep purple with yellow centers, lit by soft daylight and shot low with a shallow depth of field so the foreground blooms are crisp and the background becomes circular bokeh. One bloom near the bottom center is fully open and shows its yellow disc florets against several still-closed buds.
