Yellow Wood Sorrel Flower

A yellow wood sorrel flower sits low among cloverlike leaves and thin blades of grass. The single five-petaled bloom is warm yellow against an otherwise desaturated, dim frame of deep foliage and blurred grasses, placed off center near the lower edge. A narrow dry blade of grass crosses above the flower and several closed buds sit nearby.
