Orange Gilled Mushrooms on Log

A cluster of orange gilled mushrooms grows on a piece of decaying bark and wood near the forest floor. The warm terracotta caps and pronounced gill undersides are lit from the side against a dark, softly blurred background so the fungi and a small green sprout occupy the foreground. Small specks of soil and tiny tears along the gill edges are visible on several caps.
