Cast-Iron Railing Post

A cast-iron railing post fills the left side of the frame and stands close to the camera. The thick black paint appears glossy in places and is scored with orange-brown rust against a soft, out-of-focus neutral background. Close inspection shows pitted metal and areas where the paint has bubbled and flaked away.
