Mahogany Venetian Water Taxi

A mahogany Venetian water taxi moves toward the camera through a narrow canal with two men at the helm. The varnished brown wood and chrome details contrast with greenish canal water and a red plaster facade to the right, while a pale, shuttered palazzo fills the background. Algae-streaked brick and wooden mooring posts line the canal edge and catch the wake from the boat.
