Curled Blue Flower Bud

The curled blue flower bud sits near the lower center of the frame among leaves. It shows deep cobalt-blue petals lit from the side, photographed close-up against out-of-focus green foliage and a gray background. The upper petal edge reveals a fine granular texture and a slight ruffle that catches the light.
