Stamens of a White Blossom

The stamens of a white blossom rise from the flower's center and reach toward the top of the frame. The threadlike filaments are pale with small yellow pollen masses, lit softly against a dark green, out-of-focus background and photographed with very shallow depth of field. Several filaments show tiny bead-like structures and one anther at left is sharply in focus like a small pom‑pom.
