Stink Bug Egg Mass on Bark

A small mass of translucent stink bug eggs sits on mossy tree bark near the lower right of the frame. The eggs are pale, almost off-white with tiny dark embryo points visible at their centers; soft even light and a very shallow depth of field isolate them against green-gray textured bark and a blurred dusky background. The individual eggs have a barrel-like cup shape with faint surface granulation and small openings where the embryos appear.
