Stone Pedestrian Bridge over Venetian Canal

A stone pedestrian bridge spans a narrow canal in Venice, sitting between rows of aged brick and stucco houses. Pale overcast sky and cool gray light fall on terracotta roofs and ochre facades, while the bridge's iron railing cuts across the center of the frame and the water below mirrors the buildings. Through the bridge's arch a second smaller arch appears with moored boats and a seagull perched on a distant chimney.
