Bracket Fungi on Bark

Bracket fungi grow along the side of a tree trunk in this image. The photograph is rendered in grayscale with the fungi and surrounding foliose lichen lit and sharply focused on the left while the right side falls into soft bokeh. Tiny water beads cling to the edges of the fungal caps, giving them a glossy texture.
