Cypress Tree with Dry Foliage

A cypress tree fills the frame with branches loaded with dry, curled foliage. Orange-brown fronds sit against dark, furrowed trunks under soft, even light, and the image is tightly cropped to emphasize the tangled limbs. Many frond segments are curled into tight spirals, giving the canopy a bristled texture.
