Scarab Beetle on Grass Blade

A scarab beetle clings to a vertical grass blade near the right edge of the frame. The beetle's glossy bronze and black shell catches cool, diffuse light against a dark, out-of-focus background while narrow grass blades run vertically through the composition. One antenna is raised and the beetle's textured head and tiny punctures on the shell are shown in sharp focus.
