Backlit Dried Lamina Edge

The dried lamina sits at the bottom of the frame with its serrated edge lifted into the light. Warm amber highlights pass through the lamina's translucent cell pockets while a large out-of-focus white bokeh occupies the upper area and a dark background frames the lower zone. The surface shows a honeycomb-like pattern of tiny translucent cells where the light penetrates.
