White Peony Stamens Close-Up

White peony stamens cluster at the center of the flower. Bright orange threadlike filaments rise from a creamy-white core and are framed by white petals with red streaks, photographed very close with a shallow depth of field. Several filaments end in tiny rounded tips and a narrow band of maroon striping is visible on the petal edge.
