Black-eyed Susan Cone

A black-eyed Susan sits with its dark central cone filling the frame. Bright yellow petals radiate from a textured, nearly black-brown cone against a soft deep-green background shot with a very shallow depth of field. Tiny yellow pollen grains cling to the cone's edge and the disk shows a regular, scaled pattern.
