Brown Spherical Fungi on Log

Brown spherical fungi grow in a tight line along the side of a decaying tree trunk. They are matte brown against dark, rough bark, photographed close-up with a shallow depth of field so the right side falls into soft gray and tan blur. Small bracket (turkey-tail) shelves appear lower on the trunk with white-edged concentric rings.
