Purple Bearded Iris Petal

A purple bearded iris petal curls above the iris's white-and-yellow beard. The frame is filled with saturated violet tones and soft directional light; a very shallow depth of field keeps the beard and nearby veins in focus. Fine veins run across the petal and the beard's filaments catch the light.
