Sweat Bee on Queen Anne's Lace

A metallic green sweat bee rests on the umbel of a Queen Anne's lace (wild carrot) flower head. The cluster of small white flowers fills the right side of the frame against a smooth dark gray background, with soft daylight bringing out the bee's iridescent bronze and green tones. A fine strand of spider silk is visible caught on one lower stalk.
