Iridescent Wasp on Grass Blade

An iridescent wasp sits on a curved grass blade near the right edge of the frame. Its metallic green thorax and orange legs contrast with a dark-banded abdomen, and the insect is side-lit against a soft, out-of-focus green background. One antenna is sharply in focus and fine wing veins and minute body hairs are visible.
