Worker Ants at Nest Entrance

Worker ants are gathered at the sandy entrance to their nest, moving in and out of a small dark hole. Pale beige and tan sand grains catch the sunlight while a narrow band of focus keeps the entrance sharp and the foreground and background softly blurred. Individual antennae and tiny crystalline sand grains sit clearly next to the nearest workers.
